Free/BusyCommuniGate Pro server can retrieve Free/Busy information about event participants' occupancy from other servers. Obtaining information about occupancy occurs when creating an event in the calendar, and all participants' domains are checked. If the user's domain is configured to receive information from the event participant domain, a request for this information is made. This functionality is implemented using Plugins. If the corresponding is uninstalled, disabled or not properly configured, the information will not be requested. Adding extensions and configuring Free/Busy domains is available to the Server and/or Domain Administrator Domains ListServer and Domain administrators can view, add, delete, customize domains to get Free/Busy information. This customization applies to each server domain separately. <аp>To view the list of domains (rules) for occupancy information or to add a domain, the Administrator should use the Free/Busy link, located on the Domains page. The Add New Rule page will appear with a list of already existing rules for obtaining occupancy information:The add button will be visible if there is at least one Enabled Free/Busy Plugin. When you visit the page of the list of domains to get information about occupancy, the records for which the corresponding extension is removed are deleted. Disabled and unconfigured rules are highlighted by special tags. Add Free/Busy domainWhen you click on the Add rule button, a page appears where you need to enter the domain and select its type. The list of types available depends on the installed Plugins. After pressing the Save button, theFree/Busy domain settings page will be opened. Domain settingsThe list of parameters depends on the domain type and is determined by the Plugin used for the domain being added. It is required to enter the address of any server which the Free/Busy information will be queried from. If the extension is disabled, you cannot edit the settings. In this case, you can only delete a domain from the list. |
